Results vary based on vehicle, glass type and film selection. Heat rejection, glare reduction, UV blocking, privacy and final appearance depend on the specific film installed, the glass it is applied to, window size and angle, sun exposure and the structure or vehicle itself. Nothing on this website is a guarantee of a particular temperature drop, energy saving or visual result.

Manufacturer warranty

Films we install are covered by the warranty offered by that film's manufacturer. Coverage, duration and claim process are set by the manufacturer, not by ACE Custom Tint, and differ from product to product. We will tell you which film is being used and what its warranty covers before work begins. Warranties typically exclude damage from abrasion, scratching, improper cleaning, accidents, vandalism, alteration and normal wear.

Workmanship

Our installation workmanship is backed as described at the time of your quote. Contact us promptly if you believe an installation issue has appeared.

Curing period

Freshly installed film needs time to cure. Slight haze, small water pockets or a light milky appearance during this period is normal and generally clears as moisture evaporates; curing can take longer in cool or humid weather. Do not roll down newly tinted vehicle windows or clean the film until we tell you it is safe to do so.

Glass condition and breakage

Existing glass may have chips, stress cracks, seal failure or prior film residue that is not always visible before work starts. Applying film to any glass carries some risk of thermal stress, particularly on older, tempered, insulated or previously damaged glass. ACE Custom Tint is not responsible for pre-existing defects or for glass failure that is not caused by our workmanship.

Old film removal

Removing previously installed film can reveal scratches, defroster line damage or adhesive staining underneath. Removal is quoted separately and we cannot guarantee the condition of glass or defroster lines beneath old film.

Tint laws

Legal tint limits vary by state and by window position. The vehicle owner is responsible for choosing a legal configuration. We advise on limits but are not responsible for citations resulting from a customer's chosen shade.
